That's a great scene, especially for it's time, but theater goers in 1934 did not get to see it because it was cut by the Hollywood censors in accordance with the Hays Code, which banned all nudity in films. Bear in mind that the Hays Code was the Hollywood studios censoring themselves so the government wouldn't.
The scene was later put back in for home video release.
